Mike Hawkins

Exposed!

The Videotape

The Review

The tape I studied from Mike Hawkins the "Gulf Breeze Files" is a two hour long videotape. Actually it was about 25 minutes of material repeated over and over. The tape dubbed over all the original audio with the soundtracks from Passenger 57 and Conan: The Barbarian. Most people found the tape annoying to watch in its entirety. Jeff Ferris thought it was bogus and a waste of time to study. On the tape Hawkins narrates with several strange comments such as.

"Are you scared yet? hahahahah. Maybe you should be afraid, very afraid"

"Do you believe in UFOs yet. You should be now!"

Over all I ignored all the UFO believer propaganda on the video and tried to break down the video into different sections to understand who videotaped what. It was apparent that some of the tape had actual UFO events while other shots appear to have been manufactured somehow. Now the trick was to figure out who shot what. Certainly Hawkins was always the principle suspect because he is after all selling this stuff.

The tape listed the following people as contributing to it's production.

And list thanks to anonymous people that supplied UFO videos and photos...

Buried deep in this tape there is some footage that appeared fairly credible. However a large part of Hawkins production relied upon far fetched UFO evidence with ridiculous photos and videos. It would certainly be a job to determine who shot what video/photo. No wonder why most people didn't pay any attention to these guys. The phony garbage undermines a worthy study of the alleged UFO evidence.

The Suspect Evidence

UFO with Military Aircraft

The Star Wars Pod
Chrismas tree landing videos
Triangle video

Mike was certainly trying to sell UFO reality with the tape. The problem is he oversold it in leaps and bounds. Repeated overkill of faked UFO photographs mixed with other real UFO material along with pictures of alien heads hurt his tapes credibility more than it helped. It certainly would be a tape to put on the shelf unless I could talk with those videographers involved.

So I tried to contact them and didn't have any luck finding them. So I devised a way for them to find me. I made a quick webpage about Hawkins and asked if any came across it to contact me. After a few months I recieved some of the feedback I was looking for.
